"My name is Ruth Alemán, and I hail from San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora. My life has been marked by surgeries since childhood, and I now rely on a cane to walk. At 19, I pursued my passion for nail art, completing a four-month course. Encouraged by my success, I worked in a beauty salon for four years before setting up my own nail business at home, where I've been helping clients for a decade. This journey has been the most beautiful experience, not only enhancing the beauty of my clients' hands and feet but also teaching aspiring entrepreneurs the art of nail care. My path was further challenged by a hip issue stemming from a fall and multiple surgeries, resulting in the need for a cane. The difficulties I faced while walking in public and the way people looked at me made me realize the importance of equality. Through it all, I've learned that we all have equal opportunities.
